The new bone substitute material easy-graft® CRYSTAL+ combines the proven application directly from the syringe with the advantages of biophasic calcium phosphate (BPC). In the bone defect, the material hardens to form a stable but porous bone substitute. BCP, the main component of easy-graft® CRYSTAL+, consists of 60% hydroxyapatite and 40% ß-tricalcium phosphate, with each individual granule bead representing a microstructure of these two materials. Parallel to the formation of new bone, the ß-tricalcium phosphate is slowly degraded. The hydroxyapatite persists and serves as a highly porous scaffold for new bone formation. easy-graft® CRYSTAL 150 is particularly suitable for smaller bone defects and defects that are at risk of bone atrophy after healing.
Step by step
Open the bag with the syringe filled with easy-graft® granules. Open the bag with the BioLinker. Fill the BioLinker into the syringe. Mix both components and discard the excess BioLinker. The granules are now sticky and can be applied directly into the defect.
Pasty from the syringe!
Accelerated osteoconduction due to its high and open micro- and macroporosity!
Sustainable volume retention through combination of ßTCP (40%) and hydroxyapatite (60%)!
