Controlled execution of the internal sinus floor elevation
Combined system for internal and external sinus lift
The combined Lift-Control Plus system offers coordinated instruments for performing both internal and external sinusoidal floor elevation. In the internal sinus lift, the bone of the implant site is displaced in the direction of the maxillary sinus with the help of the elevators. This procedure is particularly suitable for the augmentation of small vertical deficits with a residual bone height of more than 6 mm. When the external sinus lift is performed, a lateral approach is made through the fascial maxillary sinus wall and the Schneider membrane is dissected with the help of the various hand instruments and raised from the floor of the maxillary sinus to the cranial. Subsequently, a suitable bone augmentation can be inserted under the Schneiderian membrane.
